Dr. Beth Anderson grew up in the Dallas Area graduating from Bishop Lynch High School. She became interested in Optometry after seeing a special program on preventable blindness throughout the world. Having a high prescription herself, she could empathize how difficult life would be without vision correction. She has since traveled to Honduras for a medical mission trip providing eyecare for those most in need.
Dr. Anderson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University and Summa Cum Laude at the University of Houston College of Optometry, at which she served as commencement speaker for the graduating class. She then went on to practice at a major surgical center in Southlake Texas prior to opening Wylie Eye Center in 2009.
Dr. Anderson is active in the community and enjoys working with the Wylie ISD nurses to improve vision screenings in our schools. She loves participating in career days as an opportunity to share her passion of optometry. In her spare time Dr. Anderson loves to play basketball and spend time with her husband, son and new baby.
