PureVision (balafilcon A) visibility tinted contact lens is indicated for daily wear or extended wear from 1 to 30 days between removals, for cleaning and disinfection or disposal of the lens, as recommended.

The lens is indicated for the correction of refractive ametropia (myopia and hyperopia) in aphakic and/or not-aphakic persons with non-diseased eyes, exhibiting astigmatism of 2.00 diopters or less, that does not interfere with visual acuity.

PureVision contact lenses, with AerGel technology lens material, are manufactured by the FormCast manufacturing process, cast molding process, and are surface treated by the Performa surface treatment process which transforms hydrophobic silicone to hydrophilic silicate.

This helps deliver: enhanced wettability and deposit resistance without inhibiting oxygen or fluid transport, high oxygen transmissibility for healthy, white eyes and reduced risk of hypoxic stress to help maintain excellent ocular health.

PureVision Toric (balafilcon A) Visibility Tinted Contact Lens is indicated for daily wear or extended wear from 1 to 30 days* between removals, for cleaning and disinfection or disposal of the lens, as recommended by the eye care professional.

The lens is indicated for the correction of refractive ametropia (myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism) in aphakic and/or not-aphakic persons with non-diseased eyes, exhibiting astigmatism of up to 5.00 diopters, that does not interfere with visual acuity.

The lens may be prescribed for Frequent/Planned Replacement Wear or Disposable Wear in spherical powers ranging from +6.00D to -9.00D when prescribed for up to 30 days of extended wear.

The lens is made from the polymacon material, a hydrophilic polymer of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, and is 38.6% water by weight when immersed in a sterile saline solution.

SofLens 38 contact lenses combine performance with a time-tested, deposit-resistant lens material and may be prescribed for traditional, frequent/planned replacement or disposable wear for the correction of refractive ametropia (myopia and hyperopia).

SofLens Multi-Focal (polymacon) visibility tinted contact lens is a soft hydrophilic contact lens that is a front surface asphere consisting of multiple aspheric zones with a spherical base curve.
